When to use a delivery note

Use a delivery note when materials, equipment or completed items are handed over. It documents quantities and receipt without creating a new payment request.

    What should it include?

Include delivery note number, delivery date, customer, delivery address, related work order, item descriptions, quantities, units, package count and receipt details.

Where it fits in the workflow

A delivery note confirms the handover of goods or work. An invoice requests payment and may be created from the same carried-forward items.

    A few useful answers

Are prices shown on the delivery note?

No. The PDF shows descriptions, quantities and units. Rates remain in the local document so they can be reviewed when creating the invoice.

Can the recipient sign the delivery note?

Yes. The PDF provides blank signature lines for the person delivering and the recipient.

    Where are my documents saved?

Only in this browser on this device. Clearing browser data deletes local drafts. Download PDFs you need to keep, and avoid shared devices for private customer information.
