Controller and scope

This Privacy Policy applies to Contractor Job Tools and its associated website. It does not cover other Paragamix products.

Your local workspace and documents

Your workspace data stays in this browser in the current version. Business profiles, customers, billing addresses, job sites, saved items and services, defaults, settings, jobs, estimates, work orders, service reports, invoices, line items and notes are processed and stored locally on your device. The document and workspace functionality does not upload these contents to Paragamix or the hosting server.

The optional My Business profile is stored in the same local workspace. New documents receive copies of saved details; editing a saved customer, item or profile does not change historical documents.

Local browser storage is not encrypted by the application and is not a backup service. Other people with access to the same browser profile may be able to read it. Changing browsers or devices, clearing browser data, private browsing or storage failure can make your work unavailable. Export backups and download important PDFs. Backup files can contain business and customer information: store them securely. Importing a backup reads the file locally; it does not upload it.

Hosting and international data transfers

Contractor Job Tools is operated by Paragamix GmbH and hosted on a Hetzner Cloud server located in Ashburn, Virginia, United States. Our contractual hosting provider is Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany.

Hetzner uses infrastructure provided by NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. at the Ashburn colocation location, and Hetzner US LLC is involved in providing the U.S.-located server infrastructure. This is a colocation location, not a Hetzner-owned data center.

Technical data needed to establish and operate a website connection, such as your IP address, requested resource and related traffic data, is processed at the U.S. server location. Hetzner states that transfers associated with Cloud server locations outside the EU/EEA are safeguarded using Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). These safeguards do not eliminate all risks associated with international transfers.

Hetzner also states that customer account, contractual and billing data it processes for its own purposes remains within the European Union. That refers to Hetzner's customer relationship, not to all website-access data.

Your Contractor Job Tools workspace is different. Its contents remain locally in your browser in the current version and are not uploaded to our server as part of document creation or workspace storage. This functionality does not send those contents to Hetzner US LLC or NTT Global Data Centers Americas.

Technical connection data and logs

Website delivery necessarily processes technical information that may include your IP address, date and time, requested URL or file, browser type/version, operating system and referrer where supplied. This supports delivery, security, stability, abuse prevention and troubleshooting. Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure and reliable website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The website is served directly by Caddy on our Ashburn server. HTTP access logging is disabled for this website, so we do not keep routine per-request access logs. Server operational and error messages may still be processed for security and troubleshooting. The hosting provider necessarily processes technical connection and infrastructure data in accordance with its own policies.

Document contents and locally saved workspace data are not included in application logs or sent as analytics events. Document links use random local document IDs; technical requests may contain these IDs, but they do not provide the server with the document contents.

Email contact and information held by Paragamix

If you email info@paragamix.com, Paragamix processes your email address and the information you choose to include to respond to your inquiry. Depending on its purpose, the GDPR basis is Article 6(1)(b) for steps related to a contract, or Article 6(1)(f) for our legitimate interest in responding to other inquiries. Email information is separate from local contractor documents unless you deliberately send it to us.

Paragamix may receive technical website-access information and information voluntarily sent by email. We retain inquiry information only as needed to handle the matter or meet applicable legal obligations. Hosting infrastructure providers process the technical data described above; no advertising or analytics provider is active in this version.

Cookies and browser storage

The current version does not use advertising cookies or analytics cookies. Functional browser storage supports document drafts, business profiles, customers, sites, items, jobs, numbering, defaults and local settings. It is not used for advertising tracking or behavioral profiles.

Advertising, analytics and privacy signals

Contractor Job Tools currently does not load Google AdSense, Google Analytics or other third-party advertising or analytics scripts. If these services are introduced in the future, this Privacy Policy and any required consent or privacy-choice mechanisms will be updated before activation.

Paragamix does not sell personal information collected through Contractor Job Tools. Contractor Job Tools currently does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Contractor Job Tools currently does not track users across third-party websites for behavioral advertising. Because no such tracking is performed in this version, browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals do not change the site's behavior. This statement must be reviewed before future advertising or tracking activation.

U.S. Privacy Information

Residents of certain U.S. states may have rights under applicable state law. Where applicable under law, these may include access, correction, deletion, obtaining a copy of personal information, and opting out of certain sales, sharing or targeted advertising. This does not mean every U.S. state privacy law applies to Paragamix.

To request review, correction or other applicable rights regarding information held by Paragamix, email info@paragamix.com. We may need information reasonably necessary to verify and respond to a request. Local workspace contents can be reviewed, edited, exported or deleted directly in your browser; Paragamix cannot retrieve them from the server.

GDPR rights

Where applicable, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. EU/EEA users may lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority. Contact us at the address above to exercise rights concerning information we hold.

Children's Privacy

Contractor Job Tools is intended for contractors, businesses and professional users. It is not directed to children under 13. Paragamix does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this service. If you believe such information was provided directly to Paragamix, contact us by email.

Deleting data and changes to this policy

Use Saved to delete individual library records or documents. “Clear all saved data” removes the entire local workspace. Deleting a saved customer, item or business profile does not remove copies already contained in documents. Customer library notes and site access notes are private local information, not PDF content. Downloaded PDFs and backups must be deleted separately from your device.

Changes to this policy will be published here with an updated date; material changes will be clearly identified. Required hosting, logging and privacy disclosures must be completed before public release.
